January 20, 2012. Auto-Graphics releases new version of VERSO ILS software at ALA Midwinter 2012. Auto-Graphics announced that it will be showcasing Version 3.9 of its VERSO integrated library system at the ALA Midwinter Meeting 2012 in Dallas, TX. Part of the AGent family of Library Automation Software & Solutions, Version 3.9 incorporates nearly 200 enhancements to the VERSO system with improvements to the User Administration, Circulation, Serials, Acquisitions and Cataloging functions. Auto-Graphics announced the expansion of its executive management team with the addition of experienced software veterans, Robert Brown and Phillip DeLong. December 6, 2011. Tennessee State Library and Archives selects Auto-Graphics' AGent VERSO to deliver statewide ILS. Auto-Graphics announced that the Tennessee State Library and Archives has selected the AGent VERSO Consortial Edition, to provide a statewide integrated library system to 100 libraries throughout Tennessee. AGent VERSO's Consortial Edition provides TSLA libraries with a superior level of technology that will advance the system of each of its members. Library staff will have the ability to define localized features and functions in the OPAC as well as develop library specific circulation, lending and borrowing policies. June 24, 2011. Auto-Graphics Releases iLib2Go, a free iPhone Application. Auto-Graphic announced that iLib2Go, its free iPhone Application will be available after July 1, 2011 through the Apple App Store. All current AGent VERSO customers will be able to offer this service to their patrons at no additional charge. The simple, user-friendly app enables patrons and staff to securely search their library's holdings, place reserves, renew items and more - anyplace and anytime through their iPhone. <<more>>


June 22, 2011. New white paper explains how libraries can achieve significant time and staff cost savings by Implementing NCIP. Auto-Graphics announced the availability of a new white paper titled Determining Staff Cost Savings Using the NCIP Calculator. The paper illustrates how libraries can benefit from implementing the NISO Circulation Interchange Protocol (NCIP) between their resource sharing and circulation systems and provides information to access online tools developed by Auto-Graphics to assist individuals in measuring potential staff cost savings using NCIP at the state and/or individual library level. <<more>>

Auto-Graphics announced that the State Education Resource Center Library in Connecticut has selected Auto-Graphics' AGent Search to provide federated searching of up to 45 resources. SERC is a nonprofit agency primarily funded by the Connecticut State Department of Education that provides professional development and information dissemination in the latest research and best practices to educators, service providers, and families throughout the state, as well as job-embedded technical assistance and training within schools, programs, and districts. <<more>>


January 19, 2011. Capital Sm@rtLibrary Chooses Auto-Graphics' AGent Search to deliver federated search portal in Ottawa, Canada. Auto-Graphics announced that Capital Sm@rtLibrary in Ottawa, Canada has selected Auto-Graphics' AGent Search to provide federated searching of up to forty Z39.50 library targets. Capital Sm@rtLibrary is a collaborative partnership of member libraries in Canada's National Capital Region providing residents with fast, seamless access to the resources of Ottawa and Gatineau libraries and serving as a portal to libraries globally. This project will begin with an initial group of 11 libraries and 2 institutional repositories and is expected to expand to provide more coherent access to resources of the many libraries and institutional repositories in the region. <<more>>

Auto-Graphics announced that the Winding Rivers Library System, a consortium consisting of more than 35 public library locations throughout Wisconsin, has selected AGent VERSO to replace its SirsiDynix Horizon integrated library system. <<more>>


December 14, 2010. Arkansas State Library Selects Auto-Graphics' AGent Search to Deliver Statewide Federated Search Portal. Auto-Graphics announced that the Arkansas State Library has selected Auto-Graphics’ AGent Search to provide a federated search portal for over 1,000 multi-type libraries that participate in the Traveler Online Project. AGent Search will provide a streamlined single point of access to state funded and locally obtained subscription content databases that may have been previously unavailable to participating libraries. In addition, member libraries will be configured as Z39.50 targets for the purpose of information retrieval and to provide a greater view into library collections for cataloging or interlibrary loan and resource sharing among members. Participating libraries include 47 academic libraries, 200 public libraries, 37 special libraries and 800 school libraries throughout Arkansas. <<more>>

Auto-Graphics announced the Smart Application Group Editor (SAGE), a powerful tool allowing library staff to incisively identify and update staff-selected groups of records. Auto-Graphics announced that both the North Central Kansas Library System and the NorthWest Kansas Library System have expanded their contracts to offer the AGent VERSO integrated library system to 13 additional public libraries throughout Kansas. July 14, 2010. Mississippi Library Commission Goes Live with AGent VERSO. Auto-Graphics announced that the Mississippi Library Commission has fully implemented the AGent VERSO integrated library system. Auto-Graphics completed the ILS migration for the MLC from a SirsiDynix Symphony integrated library system to AGent VERSO in less than six weeks, allowing the MLC to hit its target migration date. Auto-Graphics' implementation experts converted the entire collection of the MLC which included all bibliographic and item data, patron data, circulation transactions, holds and bills, enabling the commission to make use of the advanced features and enhanced staff functionality available through AGent VERSO. The MLC chose the Software as a Service (SaaS) delivery method, which keeps system downtime to a minimum so as not to impact patrons and staff and allows the MLC freedom in the future to have the system remotely hosted and managed by Auto-Graphics. <<more>>

April 29, 2010. Agent Information Software, Inc. Announces First Quarter 2010 Earnings. April 29, 2010-Agent Information Software, Inc. (AIS), reported a net loss of ($121,522) for the quarter ended March 31, 2010, up $47,708 or 28% over first quarter 2009. The net loss was less than projected for the first quarter by $50,688 or 29%. Net sales for the quarter ended March 31, 2010 were $1,137,781, which met forecast but were down $64,854 or 5% from $1,202,635 for the same period last year because of fewer one-time sales and customer concerns due to economic and budget constraints in the library market. <<more>>

Auto-Graphics announced that the company delivered its NCIP-compliant Circulation Interlibrary Loan Link module to Vernon Parish Library in Louisiana. CILL marries the borrowing and lending functionality between Vernon Parish's interlibrary loan system, Loan SHARK - powered by Auto-Graphics' AGent Resource Sharing -- and the library's integrated library system, Library.Solution -- provided by The Library Corporation.
