LibLime announced that Poets House has selected LibLime as their vendor of choice to implement and support LibLime Koha, as their next generation, open source, Integrated Library System. LibLime will perform all of their implementation services including professional project management, data migration, system configuration, and staff training. The Sump Memorial Library in Papillion, Nebraska has joined the Pioneer consortium in using LibLime Koha for all collection and patron management services. April 11, 2012. National Museum of Women in the Arts goes live on LibLime Koha 4.10. The National Museum of Women in the Arts is live on LibLime Koha 4.10. They are impressed with LibLime’s service and the quality of their professional staff. The Museum was able to migrate from their legacy Voyager system to LibLime Koha in just under four months, using LibLime’s efficient, streamlined, implementation processes. <<more>>
April 8, 2012. Pioneer Consortium grows to 24 libraries on LibLime Koha. LibLime announced the twenty fourth library of the Pioneer Consortium to join the Pioneer LibLime Koha union catalog. Since May of 2011, the Pioneer Consortium, a group of public libraries throughout Nebraska, has worked with LibLime to build a union catalog from separate ILS databases, and add member libraries. The original group of eleven public libraries went live on LibLime Koha on in the spring of 2011. At that point, the new union catalog had just over 300,000 bibliographic records and nearly 900,000 item records. <<more>>

LibLime announces that the Hong Kong Buddhist College has selected LibLime as their vendor of choice to implement and support LibLime Academic Koha, as their next generation, open source, Integrated Library System. The College Library ran a tender for ILS vendors and LibLime won with the best technical and cost proposal. February 16, 2012. LibLime takes Koha with Class directly to the students. LibLime takes Koha with Class a step further by getting more involved with the classes and students. Two of LibLime’s on staff librarians, Patrick Jones and Maria Laude, will be featured speakers in two different library school classes. They will be participating in WebEx sessions over the next few weeks to show the students general overviews of LibLime Koha and to discuss the business of open development ILS applications. <<more>>

LibLime, a Division of PTFS, announces that the Henderson County Public Library, of Athens, TX, has successfully migrated to LibLime Koha. Henderson County Public Library staff worked with LibLime’s project management staff on data migration and system configuration. December 8, 2011. LibLime Academic Koha to be used by University Students in Spring Semester 2012. Spring semester 2012, three schools are joining LibLime in the Koha with Class program. The three schools working with LibLime on this project include: The School of Library and Information Science at Indiana University; The Information School at the University of Washington Gallagher; and the Graduate School of Library and Information Science at Simmons College. Library school students at these three Universities – taking classes in library automation and technology systems -- will be studying the principles for design, selection, implementation and management of automated systems of all types in libraries. Each course will cover the use of ILSs for technical service processing, reference and user services, and management. Both courses will include presentations and demos from vendors and systems librarians and possible site visits to libraries using ILS systems in their day-to-day operations. <<more>>

The Rocky View School District worked with LibLime’s project management staff on data migration, system configuration, and training. LibLime also provided Rocky View with data conversion services by generating MARC records for thousands of descriptive records that were in non-MARC format. November 10, 2011. LibLime and WALDO Announce that LibLime Academic Koha 4.8 is now in production release and is already in use by dozens of LibLime academic library customers.. LibLime and WALDO announce the production release of LibLime Academic Koha 4.8. LibLime Academic Koha 4.8 has specific tools for authority records. With LibLime Academic Koha librarians can import MARC authority records, replace a brief or “stub” authority record with an updated record and link authority records to bibliographic records via the user interface. The workflow for managing this aspect of cataloging was designed by librarians and is user friendly and intuitive. <<more>>

LibLime, a division of PTFS, and WALDO announce that that the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology in Boston, MA, is live on LibLime Academic Koha . LibLime provided all implementation services and will provide support services for MSPP. September 27, 2011. LibLime Koha is the choice of the U. S. Founding Fathers. The Founding Fathers Library Consortium is live on LibLime Koha. The Founding Father’s Library Consortium is a growing group of special libraries dedicated to preserving materials that document the lives and times of America’s founding fathers. Current members of the consortium include the library at George Washington’s Estate, Museum & Gardens and Gunston Hall Library. The American Craft Council worked with LibLime’s project management staff on data migration, system configuration, and training. LibLime also provided the ACC with data conversion services by generating MARC records for thousands of descriptive records that were in non-MARC format.
