Library details: Virginia Allan Detloff Library is an Academic library.
This library is affiliated with C.G. Jung Institute of San Francisco. The collection of the library contains 13000 volumes.
Other Info: The Library, with more than thirteen thousand books, manuscripts, audio and videotapes, and over 100 journal titles, represents a source for the study of analytical psychology that is unmatched in northern California. Many of the 1,200 plus audiotapes are of Institute seminars and conferences, such as the four History of Analytical Psychology symposia that the Institute has sponsored since 2000. We collect primarily in the fields of Jungian and general psychology, sandplay, mythology, symbolism, religion, alchemy, and art - a wide range of materials which reflect Jung's own eclectic interests. The Library also has special collections and archival material concerning C. G. Jung and the history of analytical psychology.
