Abstract: SydneyPLUS International announced a new partnership with the United States Mission to the United Nations, a publicly funded body representing U.S. foreign policy at UN assemblies.


(Vancouver, Canada – December 23, 2007) SydneyPLUS International, a leader in information management solutions, is pleased to announce a new partnership with the United States Mission to the United Nations (USUN), a publicly funded body representing U.S. foreign policy at UN assemblies.

The USUN needed information management software flexible enough to both integrate with internal custom records and provide full-text document searching capabilities. SydneyPLUS provides a web based solution to meets these needs.

The USUN needed a system that let them;

  • Build custom databases quickly through KmBuilder – a tool that helps administrators create and modify custom databases on the fly to meet the specific and changing needs of their users.
  • Store and Search document text with the Digital Media Interface (DMI) – a unique module that allows full-text keyword searches on documents of any type.
  • Deploy information to users with the .net Web OPAC – a web-based interface that lets users connect to information resources anywhere in the world.

Founded in 1947, and located in New York City, this office has a staff of over 100 people who report to Dr. Zalmay Khalilzad the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations.
