(Woburn, MA – April 7, 2008) Inmagic, Inc. announced today the latest release of its premier information management solution, DB/TextWorks version 11. This release supports customers planning to migrate to the Microsoft Vista operating system, and includes numerous new features for improved ease of use and enhanced overall user experience.
DB/TextWorks is a flexible information management tool that allows users to create, maintain and search a database comprised of virtually any type of content, including documents, images, text, knowledgebases or multi-media objects – completely independent of IT support. The latest release began shipping on March 31st, 2008 and is now available to customers directly through Inmagic and its global network of partners.

New DB/TextWorks v11 features include:
- Vista compatibility: Ensures users are able to run on the latest advances in Microsoft operating systems
- Verification: Allows users to verify that files referenced on the local or network directory exist and helps users keep the quality of their textbases high
- Dynamic action resets: Allows users to undo the last action performed in the form designer; available for specific action types such as moving or inserting boxes
- HTML reporting "previews": Preview shows what a report will look like displayed in a Web environment, allowing form designers to save time and create better-looking output on the first try
- Secondary records management: Ability to select form for edit secondary record; improving the ease with which secondary records can be edited and maintained
DB/TextWorks v11 is designed to be used immediately. Customers on maintenance automatically receive this release as part of an annual maintenance contract, and thus can take advantage of these enhanced features and functionality at no additional cost. WebPublisher PRO v11 will be shipping in Q2 and customers will be notified of availability.
