Abstract: Auto-Graphics announced that the Mississippi Library Commission has fully implemented the AGent VERSO integrated library system. Auto-Graphics completed the ILS migration for the MLC from a SirsiDynix Symphony integrated library system to AGent VERSO in less than six weeks, allowing the MLC to hit its target migration date. Auto-Graphics' implementation experts converted the entire collection of the MLC which included all bibliographic and item data, patron data, circulation transactions, holds and bills, enabling the commission to make use of the advanced features and enhanced staff functionality available through AGent VERSO. The MLC chose the Software as a Service (SaaS) delivery method, which keeps system downtime to a minimum so as not to impact patrons and staff and allows the MLC freedom in the future to have the system remotely hosted and managed by Auto-Graphics.

POMONA, CA. - June 14, 2010 - Auto-Graphics, Inc., a technology innovator providing library automation solutions for 40 years, today announced that the Mississippi Library Commission (MLC) has fully implemented the AGent VERSO integrated library system (ILS).

Auto-Graphics completed the ILS migration for the MLC from a SirsiDynix Symphony integrated library system to AGent VERSO in less than six weeks, allowing the MLC to hit its target "go live" migration date.

"We are pleased that we were able to meet the aggressive timeframe to migrate the data, implement the system and complete training," said Albert Flores, vice president of sales and marketing at Auto-Graphics. "The MLC has been a longtime partner to Auto-Graphics, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to expand services offered through the AGent library automation platform."
