Abstract: Faced with automation possibilities and searching the web for candidates, Janine Walters, Director, The Center Point Public Library in Center Point, Iowa discovered ResourceMate. This testimonial reflects this library's satisfaction with ResourceMate.

Faced with automation possibilities and searching the web for candidates, I discovered ResourceMate. At first I was skeptical based completely on its cost. I could not believe that software so inexpensive could give us what we needed to begin automation and grow with us.

Most other companies we were looking into cost thousands of dollars for the software and again thousands of dollars for annual support. I received demos of numerous programs and I was surprised that ResourceMate was not only the most inexpensive; it was the most user friendly. Training employees in the use of ResourceMate for circulation is easier than date stamping and filing cards.

When I needed to obtain information from the program for required state and local documentation, their support staff easily adapted the reports for all of my needs. Over the past six years, we have grown with ResourceMate and the company has set an example of support unsurpassed by any company I have ever dealt with.

In 2008 we completed our first inventory ever in only two days. Over 22,000 entries! It was so easy that we will be doing it annually.

Janine Walters, Director, The Center Point Public Library in Center Point, Iowa.
