Abstract: The Joint Bank Fund Library, serving the World Bank Group and IMF, has chosen the Summon Web-scale Discovery service and 360 Link from Serials Solutions to improve discovery of its library collections.

The Joint Bank Fund Library, serving the World Bank Group and IMF, has chosen the Summon Web-scale Discovery service and 360 Link from Serials Solutions to improve discovery of its library collections. With Summon, Library staff can help users focus on discovery of information rather than spending the bulk of their time educating users about, and how to use, the disparate resources that are available to them.

The Joint Library's core collections include licensed and Open Access materials in the areas of economics, trade, public policy, international and governmental finance, government statistics, development issues, and economic conditions of countries worldwide. Besides making this subscribed content easily accessible for Library users, the Summon service also covers thousands of publications created by the IMF and World Bank, including books, ebooks, reports, journal articles and more which makes locally produced content more discoverable. A majority of journal article and book content in Summon is full text searchable which improves discovery.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is an organization of 187 countries, working to foster global monetary cooperation, secure financial stability, facilitate international trade, promote high employment and sustainable economic growth, and reduce poverty around the world.
