Abstract: EOS International, a leader in cloud computing library automation software, is pleased to announce that its OPAC Discovery now integrates with Ozmosys, a leading provider of information alerting and content delivery solutions.

Carlsbad, CA – June 8, 2012) EOS International, a leader in cloud computing library automation software, is pleased to announce that its OPAC Discovery now integrates with Ozmosys, a leading provider of information alerting and content delivery solutions.

Management of the ever-expanding universe of information generated by publishers, governments, companies, law firms, trade associations, and institutes has become a challenging task for many libraries. Ozmosys has developed a comprehensive solution for managing this information. Integration of this content into EOS.Web OPAC Discovery provides a seamless way to give library patrons a single point of access to this important information.

Subscriptions to RSS feeds and high value subscription content from LexisNexis, Thomson West, and CCH managed by Ozmosys can now be delivered to library patrons via OPAC Discovery. Patron-specific Ozmosys-subscribed titles, like all other collection-based and commercial content feeds made available to patrons, are accessible from the RSS Search page in OPAC Discovery. RSS Search capabilities include options to create an A-Z listing, limit by field type, and/or filter by keyword. Ozmosys titles are hyperlinked for single-click access to an article summary. In addition, library patrons can manage their Ozmosys titles from within EOS.Web OPAC Discovery.

"We are pleased to be working with EOS International. With an ever-growing number of firms using our innovative solutions, I am confident that our mutual clients will be pleased with this new integration with OPAC Discovery. The ability to partner with a firm that shares a similar outlook on product quality and ease of information access is exciting," says Eric Gross, CEO of Ozmosys.

Sal Provenza, Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing for EOS International, commented on the integration, "Ozmosys is a forward-looking, innovative company that has developed a service that many of our clients are interested in using. This integration is another step in support of our vision to ‘Connect People to Knowledge' in an efficient and effective manner."
