CARLSBAD July 9, 2012 EOS International, a leader in cloud computing library automation software, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a partnership with Linex Systems, a current awareness content aggregating service.

Management of the ever expanding universe of current awareness digital information generated by publishers, governments, companies, law firms, trade associations, and institutes has become a challenging task for many libraries. Linex Systems has developed a comprehensive solution for managing this important information. Integration of this content into the EOS.Web OPAC provides a seamless way to give library patrons a single point of access to this important information.

RSS feeds that are managed by Linex Systems can now be displayed in EOS.Web OPAC Discovery. An additional Linex option displays as a selection on the filter drop-down list for the new search page when a patron with an eligible email address logs in to the OPAC. This setup option enables EOS clients to select which feed titles they wish to include in their OPAC.

"We are delighted with this tie up with EOS International. Our mutual clients will now be able to access the Linex Feeds directly from EOS's own client portal. Providing choice for our clients in respect of how they want to access Linex is a key element of our offering", says Matthew Dickinson, Managing Director of Linex Systems.

Sal Provenza, Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing for EOS International, commented on the partnership, "Linex Systems is a forward-looking, innovative company that has developed a service that many of our clients are interested in using. This partnership is another step in support of our vision to "Connect People to Knowledge" in an efficient and effective manner.
