North Bethesda, MD, September 14, 2012. LibLime, a division of PTFS, and WALDO (Westchester Academic Library Directors Organization) announce the production release of a browser-based mobile application for LibLime Academic Koha.
Library staff at the University of Hartford have developed mOPAC, which provides patrons with access to the University Libraries' rich collections via mobile devices. After successful deployment with the University Libraries' LibLime Academic Koha system, the University has teamed with LibLime to integrate the mOPAC application into LibLime Academic Koha 5.0. This contribution to LibLime Academic Koha 5.0 is a welcome enhancement to start the 2012 Fall semester.
Ben Ide, Head of Technical Services at the University Libraries, says, "This mobile access to the LibLime Academic Koha OPAC interface makes searching and checking your user account easy from handheld devices. This is the same information already in your catalog, only streamlined, and does not require an additional application in order to work on Apple iOS, Google Android, and Windows phones. The University of Hartford is glad to be able to contribute this innovation to the community of LibLime Academic Koha users. We hope that it will be as well received by your patrons as it is by ours."

The PTFS LibLime Division then facilitates deployment of Koha in libraries by providing outstanding consulting, development, implementation, and support/hosting for libraries of all types and sizes. PTFS is also the developer of the world's leading content management software, ArchivalWare, and specializes in meetiservices.
