Emeryville, CA—SkyRiver announced today the launch of a new record delivery service called eMARC Express. eMARC Express introduces a new approach to efficient processing of e-materials at an attractive price. This new service provides MARC files for e-materials ordered from OverDrive and 3M Cloud Library.
Available to SkyRiver subscribers and non-subscribers alike, eMARC Express makes it easy for any library to obtain files of MARC records that match their orders for e-materials in a timely and economical manner. Development partner libraries for eMARC Express applaud the efficient, seamless process where MARC records are derived and created when matched against the SkyRiver database. In addition, they have high praise for the quality of the MARC records they've received.
Kristin Slater, Manager of Bibliographic Services at the SAILS Library Network, says: "Having used both of the alternative MARC record supply services, it's clear that SkyRiver's eMARC Express represents the cleanest and least costly option.
