Leading library technology provider Bibliotheca is allowing customers around the world to communicate with each other for the first time with the introduction of Biblioforum, the company's new online community portal.
Initially available to Bibliotheca customers in English speaking regions, the forum is located under the ‘customer options' section on the Bibliotheca website and will allow customers to communicate with other members of the library community and share their thoughts and experiences with each other.
Launched in October 2012, the new online forum allows customers to discuss Bibliotheca products and applications and provide input into future product developments, while also providing general chat areas whereby customers from around the globe can share ideas and best practices.
Andy Chadbourne, Bibliotheca's Marketing Director, comments: "We are extremely excited about the introduction of Biblioforum; not only is it in line with our ethos of being a customer focused company, but it means that all Bibliotheca customers, regardless of location, can engage with each other – brining members of the library community ever closer. Although we are initially launching the forum in English, we hope to be able to offer multiple languages versions before the end of this year – providing a truly global platform for our customers to interact with each other.
Although Bibliotheca will contribute to member discussions if necessary, the forum's aim is to create an environment whereby customers across the globe can freely discuss Bibliotheca's products and solutions, along with the RFID market as a whole.
Biblioforum can be accessed by customers with their existing Bibliotheca log in details, however, for customers that want to obtain log in details for the first time or require a reminder of their account details, this can be done by emailing Bibliotheca at firstname.lastname@example.org
