Both LM and Wolper were established in the early to mid-1970s and have significantly expanded their customer bases and breadth of services over the past 5 years. Both organizations are involved with the management and dissemination of information in all aspects of print and electronic content, within the academic, corporate, research, government, medical and public library market segments.

Susan Wolper will continue to lead the U.S. organization as President and CEO of Wolper Information Services, a separate, established and widely recognized business and brand in the U.S. market. All North American sales and support functions will continue to be handled through Wolper's headquarters in Easton, PA.
Previously, in January 2011, LM expanded from its roots in the Nordics and Baltics to establish an affiliate in the UK. Under Järvinen's direction, LM has become one of Europe's leading subscription and information services providers.
Wolper was established in 1976. Ms. Wolper, a former corporate attorney specializing in real estate, joined the family-owned company in 1990 as Vice President and became sole owner and President and CEO in 1993. Along with LM's UK Country Manager Tony Roche, she serves on the Executive Committee and as Auditor of the international Association of Subscription Agents & Intermediaries. She is also a member of the Special Libraries Association, American Library Association and MedicalLibrary Association.
