More than 1,100 entries from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted to this year's competition, an increase of 10% over 2012. Finalists were determined by the average scores of 120 business professionals worldwide, acting as preliminary judges. More than 100 members of eight specialized judging committees determined Stevie Award placements from among the Finalists during final judging this year.
This award follows on the heels of Wolper's recent selection as the Bronze winner in the 2012 Best in Biz Awards for ‘Most Customer Friendly Company of the Year.' Wolper's customer service team is based out of the company headquarters in Easton, PA.
"From our perspective this was the most successful Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service yet," said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards. "Not just because of the increase in the number and variety of entries, but in the extraordinary quality of the entries. Judges have told me how impressed they were with the success stories they reviewed this year."
"Our goal is to exceed customer expectations every day and we do this by supporting our customer-facing staff and empowering them with regular training and constant communication," said Susan Wolper, President and CEO of Wolper Information Services. "We are honored to be recognized by the Stevie Awards for our best-in-class Front-Line Customer Service Team."
