Soutron similarly values the importance of structures and their relationship to function and this is represented in the design of Soutron's Library and Knowledge management systems. Experienced qualified librarians and skilled database engineers make it possible for an individual client's needs to be accommodated in a package application. All the features that a client needs are provided in intuitive web forms.
The European School of Osteopathy has a world-class reputation for high quality teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Soutron was selected to help maintain the high standards set in providing knowledge and accurate information to the school's students through fast and simple access to a wide array of information and resources.
The School's library provides a wide range of physical and electronic resources to support its curriculum, including access to more than 7,500 texts, a collection of peer-reviewed journals and links with other osteopathic and health libraries enabling inter-library loans. Soutron's advanced design provides a holistic solution to the school's library needs. Sue Elliott, Library Supervisor at the ESO explains further,"We needed a new library management system to keep up with the requirements of today's students and lecturers. Soutron has worked closely with us to move our data across to the new system and we are very pleased with the results. Their expertise and support have been excellent and we look forward to working with them for many years."
Graham Beastall, Soutron's Managing Director comments, "The demands placed on library staff today requires us to be as flexible as our software. We are delighted to be part of the support team at ESO. We see our job as being to help the Library meet its goals by taking away some of the stresses of the working week."
