Abstract: Talis has announced that the University of Liverpool has become the latest university to select Talis Aspire.

Talis has announced that the University of Liverpool has become the latest university to select Talis Aspire.

Phil Sykes, University Librarian at Liverpool, commented: "Improving the student experience is a key priority for the University of Liverpool; and we expect the acquisition of Talis Aspire to bring benefits to students, academics and the Library. Students will gain easy, timely, access to the materials they need, regardless of format, linked from their modules in the university VLE. Lecturers will gain flexibility and control over recommended reading, enabling the signposting of student learning. And in the University Library we will be able to maximise use of our resources and ensure access to the materials our users need."

The University of Liverpool is one of the UK's leading research institutions with an annual turnover of 410 million, including 150 million for research. The university has over 30,000 students, is ranked in the top 1% of higher education institutions worldwide and is a member of the Russell Group. Visit www.liv.ac.uk for more information.
