Kuali People Management for the Enterprise (KPME) 1.5.2 now available

Abstract: The Kuali Foundation announced the release of Kuali People Management for the Enterprise (KPME) 1.5.2. This release includes enhancements to the integration between Time Keeping and Leave Management modules plus patches arising from the implementation of KPME at Indiana University and Iowa State University.


The Kuali Foundation is pleased to announce the release of Kuali People Management for the Enterprise (KPME) 1.5.2. This release includes enhancements to the integration between Time Keeping and Leave Management modules plus patches arising from the implementation of KPME at Indiana University and Iowa State University.

Time Keeping is a system to record hours worked, hours in pay status, and absent time in an easy-to-use, always accessible, web-based interface. KPME Time Keeping will handle multiple jobs, pay types, and pay cycles based on the employee's active appointments with the university. KPME Time Keeping will calculate all special rates of pay such as overtime, shift differential, premium, and holiday pay.

Leave Management enables organizations and their employees to accrue, request, report and track the use of benefit time (such as paid time off and sick days) for faculty and staff members.

Other modules under development include core human resource business workflow processes to handle Position Management, HR Transactions, and Biodemographics information, as well as development of a workflow-based eDossier module that will allow the online building and review of faculty promotion and tenure dossiers.
