September 9, 2013, Wiesbaden, Germany – HARRASSOWITZ, international booksellers and subscription agents, is pleased to announce a new distribution agreement with EBL – Ebook Library, a leading e-book aggregator for academic, corporate, and research libraries worldwide and a ProQuest business. Under the agreement, HARRASSOWITZ customers will have access to EBL's e-book catalogue, which features titles in all subject areas from over 520 major academic and scholarly publishers worldwide.
Librarians can now purchase EBL e-books through HARRASSOWITZ. In addition, user-driven selection can be incorporated into the library's collection development and acquisitions procedures with EBL's pioneered e-book systems, technologies and purchasing models.
Some of EBL's significant features offered by HARRASSOWITZ include:
