Duluth, GA —October 24, 2013. Equinox Software is proud to announce that PaILS Spark consortium is officially live with an Equinox hosted Evergreen Installation. Equinox oversaw data migration and upgraded PaILS to Evergreen version 2.4. Equinox also provided staff training for new features available on the upgraded Evergreen version and will provide account management and technical support services to the PaILS consortium.

SPARK currently has more than 30 member library systems across Pennsylvania with others expected to join during 2013. PaILS was founded in 2011 as part of a collaborative effort toward a state wide resource sharing system under the leadership of the Pennsylvania Office of Commonwealth Libraries.

Angela Kilsdonk, Equinox Manager of Education, says, "It's been a pleasure to work with the SPARK libraries and PaILS through a smooth go-live. I'm looking forward to working with the libraries to help them optimize their Evergreen system!"

Lew Maurer, Executive Director for PaILS, says, "As a result of their outstanding performance during the project's proposal, contracting and migration phases, our expectations for Equinox were set very high. Since SPARK has gone live, they routinely meet or exceed those expectations. Our member libraries praise responsive and knowledgeable support. From an administrative perspective, Equinox has been transparent, rational and supportive in our interactions. Working with them has become one of the highlights of my work."
