North Bethesda, MD, December 13, 2013- LibLime, a division of PTFS, recently provided a sneak preview of the soon to be released LibLime Academic Koha 5.6 at the Special Library Association's Military Libraries Workshop (MLW) December 9-11 in Huntsville, Alabama.

LibLime Academic Koha 5.6 will include substantial changes to the application, such as a new Discovery Layer with a RESTful API, expanded authority control support for merging authorities, NACO rules for punctuation normalization, and expanded local control over Discovery Layer customizations.

As with earlier releases, all new functionality in LibLime Academic Koha continues to run in the Plack environment for increased performance, using the Solr search engine.

About the Military Libraries Division of SLA

The Military Libraries' Division (DMIL) of SLA was formed sixty years ago in 1953 to unite military librarians.
