ByWater Solutions, an open source community contributor and America's forefront provider of Koha support, announced today that the South East Kansas Library System (SEKLS) is now live on their installation of the Koha integrated library system.

ByWater Solutions completed the migration of 40+ libraries, 700,000+ items, and 70,000+ patrons for SEKLS this fall and will be providing ongoing Koha support and hosting services to them. Their custom mobile friendly OPAC can be viewed at http://www.seknfind.org.

Jason Robb, SEKnFind Coordinator, spoke of their Koha support experience with ByWater Solutions:

"Over the past 5 years, Koha has made it possible for the Southeast Kansas Library System to bring the libraries of our region up to speed with a modern, economical ILS solution that facilitates a powerful and efficient resource sharing environment. Even with the minor bumps along the way, our migration to ByWater is irrefutably the smoothest major transition we've undergone to date. Not only was our data expertly handled, we were able to implement major structural changes during the transition that have made the system much more user-friendly for both patrons and staff. Joy truly works wonders and the entire staff at ByWater has been nothing but cooperative. We are excited to be moving forward with a company so heavily ingrained in the very fiber of Koha's open source initiative."
