Abstract: Ex Libris announced the release of version 9 of the Voyager integrated library system. Deployed by over 1300 institutions around the world, Voyager now provides faster, more efficient processes for librarians that will enable them to dedicate more of their time to user needs.
Jerusalem, Israel—March 24, 2014. Ex Libris Group, a world leader in the provision of library automation solutions, announced the release of version 9 of the Voyager integrated library system (ILS). Deployed by over 1300 institutions around the world, Voyager now provides faster, more efficient processes for librarians that will enable them to dedicate more of their time to user needs.
The new version includes over 80 enhancements, many of which were initiated by the Voyager user community and refined through close collaboration between Ex Libris and its user groups. Highlights of Voyager 9 include:

Field testing of the new version was also undertaken by the Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries in Illinois (CARLI).
