North Bethesda, MD, May 24, 2014- The Hoesch Memorial Public Library, located in Alma, NE, has joined the Pioneer Consortium and will participate in the Pioneer LibLime Koha union catalog for all collection and patron management services.
The Hoesch Memorial Public Library staff will work with LibLime Project Managers to migrate bibliographic, item, and patron data from its legacy ILS system. Hoesch Memorial will enjoy autonomy within the LibLime Koha union catalog, as LibLime Koha includes support for local ownership of patron records, local ownership of items records linked to communal bibliographic records, and OPAC group searching for pre-designated collections. Hoesch Memorial patrons will also benefit from other functionality in the software sponsored by Pioneer, such as Enriched EDI for acquisitions and expanded fines and fees support in circulation.
