Vancouver, Canada -- June 19, 2014. Lucidea Corporation announces that the City of Richmond, through its Community Services and Information Technology Departments has adopted the ARGUS.net platform as their cultural assets management system.

The City's vision is "to be the most appealing, livable and well-managed community in Canada". The City and its community partners strive to collect, document, research, exhibit and interpret objects of historical and cultural significance which help to tell the story of Richmond.

Increased visibility and operational efficiency

With ARGUS.net, the City will be able to provide access to its collections online, offering visibility and public access, as well as visitor self-service. City staff can focus more time on preserving, building and sharing the collection because of the seamless integration between the "behind the scenes" catalog and the public facing portal which makes administration of the system fast and easy. Staff can now showcase the current collections (in real-time), using built-in tools that enable them to push specific information (such as new contributions to the collection) through the portal directly to the community.
