Abstract: Ex Libris announced that the Colorado School of Mines, a leading science and engineering university, has selected the Ex Libris Alma resource management solution, which will complement the school’s Ex Libris Primo discovery solution. Alma will replace a number of systems currently in use at the library, including the Ex Libris Voyager integrated library system and SFX OpenURL link resolver.

Alma will replace a number of systems currently in use at the library, including the Ex Libris Voyager integrated library system (ILS) and SFX OpenURL link resolver.
The Colorado School of Mines offers unique programs in in science and engineering. Its research hub, the Arthur Lakes Library, is a specialized technical library that supports the educational and research goals of the university and also serves as a regional source of information in engineering and applied science related to the earth, energy, and the environment. The Library sought a solution that would not only integrate with other systems at the university but would also help the school continue expanding its collaboration with other institutions in the region.
