3M Cloud Library will debut its new online publisher portal at Book Expo America 2013 to be held May 30 – June 1 at the Javits Center in New York City. BEA attendees will be among the first to experience the portal, which allows publishers to receive daily data updates on their eBook content sales.

Athens-Clarke County Library in Athens, Ga. is starting the process of expanding 3M RFID and AMH into the Royston branch, which is the third out of 12 branches in the Athens Regional Library Systems to install these 3M solutions.

3M Cloud Library now includes titles from all Big Six Publishers. 3M Library Systems

The 3M Cloud Library eBook Lending Service will add titles from Hachette Book Group to its catalog of offerings, giving readers access to books from popular authors including James Patterson and Nicholas Sparks. Hachette Book Group’s full eBook catalog will be available to libraries with no delay on new titles. The new agreement with Hachette Book Group means that 3M Cloud Library now offers content from all of the Big Six publishers. The service’s continuously growing list of publishers now numbers more than 300.

The 3M Cloud Library eBook Lending Service announces the addition of Macmillan titles to its collection. As part of Macmillan’s e-lending pilot program, 3M is pleased to offer 1,200 titles from the Minotaur Books imprint.

The 3M Cloud Library eBook Lending Service will bring Simon and Schuster eBooks to readers in a new pilot program at the New York Public Library and Brooklyn Public Library. The program will make all Simon and Schuster eBooks available to the library for purchase, including new titles.

3M Cloud Library unveils better tools, more titles. 3M Library Systems

3M Library Systems announces the launch of a new Catalog Acquisition Tool for the 3M Cloud Library, designed to give librarians more features to help manage content and to make the buying experience easier. Along with the new CAT, 3M has signed agreements with new publishers to continue building on its extensive and varied list of titles. New additions include Random House Mondadori, which will add to the service’s collection of Spanish titles, as well as Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, including their strong list of children’s content.

The 3M Cloud Library App is available in Barnes & Noble’s NOOK Apps store, making it easier for owners of NOOK tablets to borrow eBooks from local libraries. Anyone with a NOOK HD, NOOK HD+, NOOK Tablet or NOOK Color can download the 3M Cloud Library App directly from the NOOK Apps storefront, and then transfer digital content wirelessly to their device without having to physically connect to a computer.

Des Moines Public Library launches 3M Cloud Library System. 3M Library Systems

The Des Moines Public Library is now the first in Iowa to introduce the 3M Cloud Library eBook Lending Service, bringing Central Library patrons access to digital content, in-library hardware, and apps for borrowing and reading eBooks.
