Softlink announced the launch of the Library Link mobile application for Android and iPhones, giving borrower access to Liberty and Oliver information on the go. Integrated with Softlink’s Information Management Systems, Library Link enables users to search for resources, place renewals, and check alert messages for holds and overdues. Local Australian software developer Softlink has leapt their competition and introduced a full suite of mobile computing features to their customer base titled Hermes. June 20, 2011. School library budgets on the decrease – so are literacy levels. Findings from Softlink’s 2011 Australian School Library Survey revealed school library budgets are under threat and creating concern within the school community in relation to library resourcing, library staff development and literacy outcomes. As the largest supplier of School Library Management Systems in Australia, Softlink’s survey focused on school library budgets, staffing levels, and how these factors related to student literacy levels. Over 1,200 Australian schools participated in the study. The survey revealed four out of five Australian school libraries are struggling to cope with decreasing budgets, despite increasing demands to improve literacy outcomes and cope with digital resources. <<more>>

May 5, 2009	Softlink International acquires Softlink Europe . Softlink International acquires Softlink Europe, based in Oxford, UK. Softlink gains direct ownership of Oxford-based office, staff and prestigious customers that include, Birmingham Law Society, Eton College and Cambridge University.
Sep 1, 2008	Softlink America relocates headquarters from Los Angles to Seattle. President of Softlink America, Robert Corrao said the relocation will support the company’s ongoing commitment to provide organizations with superior integrated library and information management software and services. The new Seattle office accommodates larger sales and support teams to meet the needs of a growing US client base.

VIP Tone, Inc., a global education enterprise software and services company, today announced a strategic partnership with Softlink, an Australian-based library software company, to become an OEM partner for Softlink's web-based library automation solution Oliver. VIP Tone will integrate the library automation product in its School MATRIX Platform to target the K-12 education market.
Jan 31, 2005	Softlink Europe acquires Limes Software. On January 31st, Softlink Europe announced the merger with Limes Software. In future, Softlink will be handling the support and services for Limes users. Limes staff have joined Softlink, and along with new staff will provide the necessary skills. Over the next few weeks we will be carrying out a review of Limes products and services with a view to ensuring all our clients have access to the best possible systems.
