Innovative Interfaces has introduced KidsOnline, a children's Web-based patron access catalog interface. The module includes a standard set of menus and images, including hundreds in GIF format, as well as a full suite of help screens that explain terms and functions. Children can also search specially scoped collections. No additional hardware is required.
Early adopters say that the software is easily customized to meet local needs.
