TLC has introduced a new service which integrates the Z39.50 protocol with its ITS.MARC database. Until now, the process of searching ITS.MARC files required using one application to find and save a record into an editor and another to access the information. The new service, designated ITS.MARC-Z, simplifies the process. The service is available for purchase by any library which has a cataloging utility with a Z39.50 client or the company's ITS for Windows product.
