Twelve major PC manufacturers, including Acer, Compaq, Dell, Gateway, HP, IBM, and Packard Bell, have established a Web site to assist small organizations with Y2K problems. The site, which is at www.pcy2000.org, is packed with information about hardware and software, and has a testing section.
