Endeavor Information Systems has announced that it signed 38 contracts in a three-month period from May through July, 1999, bringing their total number of contracts to 271 serving over 545 libraries. The new accounts are Alcorn State University, AMEDD Consortium (19 U.S. Army medical libraries), Cal West (North Orange County Community College), College of New Jersey, Cornell University, Cypress College, Dillard University, Freed-Hardeman University, Fullerton College, Georgia State System (13 colleges), Golden West College, Hartford Seminary, Hartnell College, Huston-Tillotson College, Kentucky Department of Libraries, Lambuth University, Long Beach City College, Mississippi Valley State University, Mitchell Community College, Mount Hood Community College, National Museum of Women in the Arts, New Mexico State University, Norwich University, Oblate School of Theology, Orange Coast College, Pasadena City College, Portage County Public Library, Saint Michael's College, School for International Training, Trinity College, Trinity University, United States Army-Fort Bragg, University of Southern Alabama, University of Texas Center at Tyler, and Wichita State University.
New foreign customers are Lethbridge College (Canada), Advocates Library (Scotland), and the American University of Paris.
The inclusion of a public library (Portage Public Library) and a state--library (Kentucky Department of Libraries) suggests that the vendor may be broadening its marketing base beyond academic and research libraries.
