SIRSI introduces small bundled system

Library Systems Newsletter [December 1999]

Sirsi Corporation has launched a turnkey system for small libraries which includes a server in the cost of the software. The system, known as Unicorn QuickStart, includes a Windows NT server pre-loaded with the applications software. A customer handles its own installation and set-up, although there is a special support hotline.

The software employs the same Windows technology used in Sirsi's WorkFlows staff interface. However, new software makes the set-up and implementation of the system faster and easier than before. Users are guided by Wizards through a simple online question and answer parameter program that enables them to install and bring the system live.
