PTFS Four public libraries go live on Bibliovation 7.4. LibLime is pleased to welcome four new library members to the LibLime customer family. One of the libraries serves a community southeast of Orlando. The second library supports users outside Colorado Springs. The third library is located in Great Falls, Montana. The fourth library has a large patron population located between San Luis Obispo and Santa Monica, California. [Full Announcement].

PTFS Knowvation now on FedRAMP Marketplace. PTFS announced that Knowvation, a leading content services platform and document intelligence solution, is now “In Process” on the FedRAMP Marketplace for Moderate Impact Level systems. Knowvation, a leading content services platform and document intelligence solution, announced that it has achieved “Awardable” status through the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office's Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace. Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace is the premier offering of Tradewinds, the Department of Defense's suite of tools and services designed to accelerate the procurement and adoption of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (ML), data, and analytics capabilities. PTFS Three public libraries begin using Bibliovation 7.0 in production. Three federal government public libraries have gone live using a hosted offering of the Bibliovation 7.0 Library Services Platform. One library is in Illinois, one in Louisiana, and one in Washington. These three institutions are now using Bibliovation 7.0 to manage physical and electronic resources as they serve their respective communities. The migration for all three libraries took place during the early summer and all three went in the first weeks of August. The library staffs are now enjoying the benefits of a 100% browser-based library management solution in a FedRAMP-certified hosting facility. The users of the three libraries are accessing their collections and related resources using the Bibliovation Discovery Layer. [Full Announcement].

PTFS Two U.S. Government Libraries go live using Bibliovation 7.0. Two federal government libraries with a shared mission – one in Virginia and one in Texas — have joined to form a union catalog and have gone live using the Bibliovation 7.0 Library Services Platform. These two libraries will be using Bibliovation 7.0 to manage physical and electronic resources as they serve their respective communities. The bibliographic records of both libraries were merged and deduplicated to form this shared catalog and both libraries are now enjoying the benefits of a 100% browser-based solution. PTFS Utah Department of Transportation awards PTFS contract to use Knowvation GS as enterprise Geospatial Content Management System. Progressive Technology Federal Systems announced that it received a contract award from Utah Department of Transportation for its flagship Knowvation GS Geospatial Content Management Systems. Progressive Technology Federal Systems, provider of Knowvation, an Enterprise Content Management System suite, announced that its Knowvation GS geospatial application is available as a listing in Amazon Web Services Marketplace. AWS Marketplace enables customers to compare options, read reviews, and quickly find and deploy software. PTFS PTFS announces support of Open Government Policy Initiative. PTFS PTFS awarded Defense Technical Information Center data warehousing contract. PTFS was recently awarded a multiple year contract from the Defense Technical Information Center. Under the contract, PTFS will provide data warehouse support by housing 30,000 cubic feet of documents; storing, managing, and disseminating digital objects with ArchivalWare Digital Library System (DLS); and processing on demand document requests by scanning and uploading objects to the DLS and DTIC Online. The multi-million dollar DTIC Defense Systems Scientific and Technical Warehouse (STI) Warehouse contract has one base year and four option years. [Full Announcement].

PTFS US Federal Government awards multi-million dollar, multi-year contract to LibLime and PTFS for Koha. LibLime, a Division of PTFS, has been awarded a multi-year, multi-million dollar prime government contract for the implementation, software development, and support of Academic Koha. Under this project, LibLime and PTFS will deploy a completely web-based next generation ILS platform that manages bibliographic and digital collections from a single dashboard. The discovery layer for this platform can search and retrieve on: metadata in a variety of formats; full-text documents (electronic content and OCR-generated content); geospatial coordinates; and unstructured data files. The presentation layer brings resources of various material formats from disparate collections quickly to the researcher’s desktop. LibLime and PTFS specialists will work closely with government staff to replace their legacy commercial bibliographic cataloging system. LibLime has extensive experience in implementing, supporting, and developing on the Academic Koha platform. LibLime will implement Academic Koha and enhance functionality based upon specific requirements identified by the government. LibLime will then support the system over the five year period of performance of the contract and provide additional functional enhancements in future increments. [Full Announcement].

PTFS Dundy County Public Library joins LibLime Koha and the Pioneer Consortium. The Dundy County Public Library, located in Benkelman, NE, has joined the Pioneer Consortium and will participate in the Pioneer LibLime union catalog for all collection and patron management services.
