SOLUS and Convergent Library Technologies Inc. announce Partnership. SOLUS and Convergent have announced a partnership that will see Convergent sell SOLUS products to Canadian libraries. Commencing with immediate effect, Convergent will be reselling the new SOLUS Library App, the eb#1 Events Calendar, the LUCi Discovery platform and SOLUS's Staff App. [Full Announcement].

SOLUS welcomes City of Randwick to The Library App. SOLUS announced that City of Randwick has gone live with the SOLUS Library App, transitioning from the BLUEcloud Mobile App. City of Randwick in Sydney's Eastern suburbs, have launched their upgraded app to provide a consistent search experience across Randwick's existing Web and new Library App platform on top of their SirsiDynix's Symphony ILS connected via standard Web Services. SOLUS appoints Shelbi Schollenberger as Product Manager for the SOLUS Library App and LUCi Discovery platform. Shelbi Schollenberger has joined SOLUS as Product Manager for the SOLUS Library App and LUCi discovery platform. This key appointment allows SOLUS to take the next step in delivering on their exciting roadmap for their library discovery platforms. As Product Manager of BLUEcloud Mobile with SirsiDynix until January 2022, Shelbi joins SOLUS following a year outside the Library space as Project Manager with Logixboard. [Full Announcement].

SOLUS welcomes MCLS to The Library App with their updated connector for the Symphony ILS. SOLUS announced that Manitowoc Calument Library System has just gone live with the SOLUS Library App. [Full Announcement].

SOLUS enters US academic market - debuts at ACRL 2023 in Pittsburgh. SOLUS is well known for its mobile app in public libraries and has recently introduced a new events and room booking platform. SOLUS is now entering the US academic market with its debut at the ACRL conference in Pittsburgh held March 15 – 17. The company states they have approximately 20 academic customers with their mobile app in Australia, UK and USA and are ready for expansion. [Full Announcement].

Kapiti and Hutt Libraries choose the new SOLUS Library App. SOLUS announced two more members of the SMART Libraries Consortium in the Greater Wellington area in New Zealand onto the brand new Library App. Kapiti and Hutt Libraries have followed Masterton and Wairarapa Libraries in purchasing the App. [Full Announcement].

SOLUS and Patron Point announce major new integration. SOLUS and Patron Point are pleased to announce a new integration between eb#1, SOLUS's Events and Room Bookings platform and Patron Point's Library Marketing Automation platform. Launching with Moonee Valley Libraries in Australia the development deeply integrates Patron Point's automated email marketing and SOLUS's Events & Room Bookings solution and enables libraries to seamlessly market their Events and Rooms. SOLUS launches a brand new Library App for 2023. SOLUS is pleased to announce that it has launched a brand new Library App. The App will be rolled out to all it's customers and reseller partners over the course of February. The Libraries Consortium launches TLC Discover. SOLUS announced that it has launched it's new Discovery Platform with The Libraries Consortium in the UK.Promoted locally as TLC Discover, the platform was officially launched in London with an initial 9 members of the TLC Consortium live and the remaining 14 going live over the next two months. SOLUS signs reseller agreement with Nexbib. SOLUS announced that it has signed a reseller agreement with Nexbib. Nexbib will be reselling the SOLUS Library App throughout it's customer network. This agreement has been born from the rapid uptake of SOLUS's in-App RFID Self-Check functionality, just enhanced to include support for multi-part tag release. SOLUS and Nexbib will furthermore be working on enhancing their product offering for the library market. [Full Announcement].

SOLUS pushes new Library Apps to the Stores. SOLUS announced that it has pushed App no.'s 460 and 461 to the App Stores in the last week. These latest launches are for an Innovative Interfaces Inc. and a direct SOLUS customer on Koha in North America. SOLUS releases Ukrainian language support. OLUS announced the release of Ukrainian language support in The Library App and in active reseller partners Library Applications. Following the recent mass migration as a result of the tragic war in Ukraine, we received a request from Surrey County Council in the UK to add support for the Ukrainian language to The Library App. As a result, the Ukrainian language translation has been completed and added to the CMS and as with the other language packs, this is now free to add to customer Apps via the Content Management System. Lake Agassiz Regional Library deploys SOLUS mobile Library App. SOLUS announced that the Lake Agassiz Regional Library System has deployed its Library App. Lake Agassiz Regional Library is a consolidated public library system serving the residents of Becker, Clay, Clearwater, Mahnomen, Norman, Polk, and Wilkin counties in northwest Minnesota. LARL is comprised of 13 branch libraries and 9 LINK sites. The LARL Administrative Office is in Moorhead, MN. [Full Announcement].

SOLUS offers consortia-friendly app within an app mobile option. SOLUS announced the growing deployment of consortia “templates”, essentially an app-within-an-app, for member libraries within a consortium. A unique-to-the-SOLUS-mobile app is its ability to support consortium subscriptions, and then allow member libraries to have their own template, akin to an app-within-an-app. These templates then link to the master subscription – but at a fraction of the price of another stand-alone subscription. Solus expands its North American staff with Andrew Johnson appointment. Solus has appointed Andrew Johnson as Director of Customer Engagement for its North American operations. Andrew Johnson will initially lead the company's new foray into Library Events & Room Booking with its new, next generation eb#1 platform offering. The platform was extensively developed over a multi-year period in Australia and is being brought to the US and Canadian marketplace. Dundalk Institute of Technology (DKiT ) deploys the SOLUS app. Dundalk Institute of Technology De Chastelain Library has chosen the SOLUS app to engage students and enable 24/7 remote access to library services and resources. South Central Library System (WI) deploys Solus Library App. Solus announced that after an industry market-wide search, the South Central Library System has selected – and deployed the Solus mobile Library App. SCLS is one of Wisconsin's largest public library systems serving 49 member libraries through its consortial ILS and in turn serving 440,000 registered patrons.
