Ardmore Public Library (OK) saves time with its new ILS from TLC. Ardmore Public Library is now using the Library.Solution integrated library system from The Library Corporation. TLC welcomed Ardmore to its family of libraries last fall, completing the migration services for the single-site library from its previous Polaris system. Vienna Public Library launches NovelBranch Library Kiosk at Grand Central Mall. Vienna Public Library is launching its first NovelBranch mini-library kiosk this month, outside the JCPenney at Grand Central Mall in Vienna, West Virginia. By establishing a secondary presence in the community, in a place already frequented by many patrons, the library will be able to expand its outreach services and welcome new users. Those who live in and around Waukee, Iowa, can now access their favorite library services via Android and iOS, thanks to a seamless connection between TLC.Go! and WPL's integrated library system, Library.Solution. TLC's FRBR Catalog Receives Another Platinum Award. The Library Corporation received a platinum distinction for consecutive years for CARL.Connect Discovery Grouped Title Display in LibraryWorks' ninth annual Modern Library Awards. The multi-honoree FRBRized online catalog, released in 2018, uses Trusted Records to link titles together for an enhanced search experience. Grouped Title Display functionality in CARL•Connect Discovery displays a single entry for a work instead of numerous entries for each format and edition. TLC's ITS.MARC Cataloging Service Receives Platinum Award. The Library Corporation received a platinum distinction for ITS.MARC in LibraryWorks' ninth annual Modern Library Awards. TLC's online copy cataloging resource provides access to over 81 million records, including both bibliographic and authority records. TLC has been delivering solutions to libraries worldwide since introducing a source of MARC records on microfiche in 1974. Since then, TLC has been a leader in metadata, with its cataloging services getting better every year. Jackson-George Regional Library System Returns to TLC. TLC welcomed Jackson-George Regional Library System back to Library.Solution. JGRLS had been a customer of TLC since 1990 and used Library.Solution for 15 years prior to their migration. After a short interim with SirsiDynix, the library was eager to return to TLC's integrated library system this past August. JGRLS appreciated TLC's swift returning migration services. Rochester City School District selects Library.Solution for Schools. Rochester City School District has selected The Library Corporation for its new library software. As an alternative to Follett Destiny, TLC will provide Library.Solution for Schools to the district. RCSD was able to leverage its membership in the New York State DREAM Consortium to choose TLC as the preferred vendor. TLC completed the migration services from the Book Systems ILS for the single-site library. Before its year with Book Systems, the library had used Polaris software for many years.
