The Louisiana Library Network has signed an agreement designed to modernize Louisiana's academic libraries' infrastructure to support student and faculty access to academic resources. The transition to Alma and Primo VE from Clarivate will consolidate LOUIS member libraries' separate systems into a unified platform and deliver an estimated annual cost savings of more than $100,000, or 15% of current costs, with potential additional savings of up to $430,000 per year from platform consolidation. National Library of Technology. New library platform will fundamentally improve the availability of information for the academic and research community in the Czech Republic. More than 30 universities and research organizations in the Czech Republic have joined forces in the CARDS project led by the National Technical Library. The project paradigmatically changes the way academic libraries cooperate by switching to a common platform. This will fundamentally improve the availability of all types of information resources and strengthen the economy of their sharing, including research data.
