Millennium Release 2014 SP2 updates now live. Innovative Interfaces has delivered a new service pack update for Millennium users. The Millennium Release 2014 SP2 updates span all the major modules in the system, including acquisitions, administration, cataloging, circulation, Create Lists, serials, and WebPAC, as well as electronic resource management features. Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina (Peru) selects Innovative ILS. The Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina in Lima, Peru has selected Innovative's Millennium ILS. Currently, UNALM is comprised of twelve academic schools that specialize in the fields of natural, agricultural, and environmental sciences. It is considered one of the top universities in Peru. Library Consortium in New Jersey selects the Millennium ILS and Encore Synergy. Innovative announced that the Bridgeton Free Public Library, Millville Public Library, and Vineland Public Library in New Jersey have selected the Millennium ILS and Encore Synergy for a complete library technology solution. The Consortium has also selected Program Registration, AirPAC for Smartphones, and Encore Mobile to provide complete support to its community of patrons. Institute of Social Sciences Information (Vietnam) selects Millennium. The Institute of Social Sciences Information in Vietnam has selected the Millennium ILS. ISSI is a government research organization tasked with providing scientific information on issues and trends in social sciences in Vietnam and worldwide. Under the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, ISSI also conducts, coordinates, and assists professional activities in the field of Library and Information Science. ISSI is the first Innovative customer in Vietnam, and will migrate from a CDS/ISIS system, provided by UNESCO. [Full Announcement].

International libraries select Innovative. Innovative announced three new international library partners have selected the Millennium ILS: Botswana International University of Science and Technology (BIUST), United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA)(Ethiopia), and University of Applied Sciences (Estonia). UNECA is migrating from a SirsiDynix Horizon™ system, while BIUST and University of Applied Sciences are first-time automators. Innovative currently serves libraries in over 50 countries. The Bank of Greece Library selects Innovative. Innovative announced that the Bank of Greece has selected the Millennium ILS. The Bank of Greece Library is a Section of the Economic Research Department of the country, and is a special research library focused on economics. Its main mission is to support the research needs of the Bank's personnel in accomplishing its purposes and functions. The bank will be migrating from a Geac Advance™ system. [Full Announcement].

University of Macau Chooses Millennium. University of Macau Chooses Millennium [Full Announcement].

Chinese Culture University (Taiwan) selects Millennium. Innovative announced today that Chinese Culture University in Taipei, Taiwan has selected the Millennium ILS. As one of the largest universities in Taiwan, the University has selected a suite of products including Electronic Resource Management, AirPAC for Smartphones, and Circa Wireless Inventory to support its academic community. The University will be migrating from a Dynix Classic system by SirsiDynix. [Full Announcement].

Academic Libraries in Scotland partner for new cost effectiveness and shared services. University of the West of Scotland and the Scottish Agricultural College will join University of the Highlands and Islands to share the Millennium ILS, resulting in a gain in functionality, cost effectiveness, and choice in managing library operations. The shared Millennium system will bring together collections that total over 700,000 physical items, while offering the full functionality of the integrated ERM system to all three partners. Innovative continues growth in the Middle East. King Fahad Public Library in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia has selected the Millennium ILS, expanding Innovative's presence in the Middle Eastern region, which also includes customers in Bahrain, Lebanon, Libya, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates. As a first time automator, the King Fahad Public Library has also selected Circa for efficient wireless inventory. Together with Millennium, Innovative's fully integrated products provide support and solutions for the new library and their community of public library users. [Full Announcement].

Greenville County Library System (SC) selects Millennium and Encore. Greenville County Library System in Greenville, SC has selected the Millennium ILS and Encore Synergy as a fully-integrated library management and discovery solution. With eleven branch locations and nearly one million available items, the Library has also selected a suite of Innovative products, including Content Pro, Reporter, AirPAC for Smartphones, and Program Registration to provide a complete solution to support its community of patrons. Tacoma Public Library selects Millennium. Innovative announced that Tacoma Public Library has selected the Millennium ILS along with the Encore discovery application. [Full Announcement].

Four Community Colleges select Millennium. The Peralta Community College District in Oakland, CA has recently selected the Millennium ILS to effectively manage their library resources and provide access to students throughout the San Francisco East Bay area in Northern California. The four community colleges in the district are: College of Alameda, Berkeley City College, Laney College, and Merritt College. [Full Announcement].

Arts and Cultural Institutions select Innovative's Millennium. Innovative announced that libraries at three arts and cultural institutions have recently selected Millennium as their integrated library solution. Two of the three institutions will share systems with host libraries that already have Millennium systems in place. Those two institutions are Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Arkansas (in partnership with University of Arkansas), which is automating for the first time; and Museu d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona in Spain (in partnership with Consorci de Biblioteques Universitaries de Catalunya), migrating from a VTLS Classic system by VTLS. The German Historical Institute in Washington, DC will implement a standalone Millennium system, migrating from a DB/TextWorks system by Inmagic. [Full Announcement].

Five Irish Libraries Select Innovative's ILS and Discovery Solutions. Five libraries in the North and South of Ireland are migrating from their Talis Alto systems to Innovative's Millennium ILS and Encore discovery services platform. These new libraries include University College Dublin in Dublin, Ireland; Queen's University Belfast in Belfast, Northern Ireland; and the following three libraries that will share Queen's University Belfast's system: Stranmillis University College, St. Mary's University College, and the Linen Hall Library, all in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The Wildlife Conservation Society (NY) Implements Millennium. The Wildlife Conservation Society in New York has implemented the Millennium ILS to support the world's most comprehensive conservation organization. As a global research organization, the Wildlife Conservation Society has joined other iconic New York City institutions and Innovative customers, which includes The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the American Museum of Natural History, and The New York Botanical Garden. Innovative now in over 50 Countries. nnovative announced that the company's worldwide presence has expanded to 52 countries. The company achieved this milestone with the addition of the following new customers: Cyprus University of Technology and Neapolis University Pafos (Cyprus); Al-Arab Medical University (Libya); and Bahrain Polytechnic (Kingdom of Bahrain). The Pennsylvania Libraries Group Selects Millennium. The Pennsylvania Libraries Group, a new nine-library consortium, has recently selected the Millennium ILS. The multi-type consortium, which includes academic, public, and special libraries, quickly transitioned to the shared system to effectively manage their library resources and provide access to their users with WebPAC Pro. The Pennsylvania Libraries Group members are: Berks County Law Library, Butler County Community College, Central Pennsylvania College, Degenstein Community Library, Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Pennsylvania College of Art and Design, Pittsburgh Technical Institute, Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology, and Waynesburg University. Innovative announced today that five public libraries have recently selected the Millennium ILS along with other Innovative products, including the Warren-Newport Public Library District, Finkelstein Memorial Library, South Plainfield Public Library, Rapid City Public Library, and the Sterling Municipal Library. Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh Selects Millennium and Electronic Resource Management. Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, (UK) selected the Millennium ILS and the integrated Electronic Resource Management products to provide seamless access to print and electronic resources for staff and students. The Library is migrating from a Unicorn ILS system. The procurement team at Queen Margaret University selected Millennium to enhance business processes and bring greater efficiencies throughout the Library's Learning Resource Centre.
