Councils Online Consortium implements Amlib. The Councils Online Consortium in NSW Australia has commenced live operation of the Amlib Library Management System from InfoVision. The Consortium has implemented the latest version of Amlib, which enables libraries to extensively customize the appearance of all Amlib Web Opac screens separately for each library service within the consortium. InfoVision USA (Amlib Division) New Contact Information. In 2002, InfoVision established direct operations in North America to handle the marketing and support of InfoVision's Electronic Records & Document Management Software. In 2004, InfoVision consolidated the direct distribution and support of Amlib into its existing InfoVision North American operations. Amlib was previously distributed in North America by Brodart Automation, and this change in arrangement enables each company to serve the library community by focusing on their individual areas of expertise. InfoVision appoints new Amlib distributor for the UK and Ireland. InfoVision Technology Pty of Australia, had appointed a new distributor for its products in the UK and Ireland. A new company, InfoVision Technology Limited has been established to take over responsibility for the distribution and support of the Amlib library system, with effect from 1st April 2003. InfoVision Technology. Cap Gemini Ernst & Young provides Local Governments with E-Citizen Service Solution worth over A$100M. A syndicate of five NSW Councils have signed a ten year contract worth in excess of A$100M over the contract term with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young Australia. The IT and services solution will support local government business operations and enable improved business relationships with council customers. The five councils, Hornsby, Lake Macquarie, Parramatta, Randwick, and Wyong, selected Cap Gemini Ernst & Young after an intensive and comprehensive competitive procurement process. The project will commence early in the first quarter of 2003 with the first of three phases of capability scheduled to go live in early 2004. Announcement of agreement between InfoVision Technology and Altarama Systems.
