Comments
We have been using Spydus since 1992 and are very happy with how the product is developing particularly in the OPAC features and Web 2.0 integration.
Civica has shown improvement in the support of thier product Spydus -use of the enhancment forum from the SPUN user group upgrades and development very positive in terms of libraries needs and responses.
Hyperlink structure in Spydus is very good.
Our main move is to use "cloud" tech for a range of things. Directions Spydus is taking to give the ILS a social networking focus (eg Sorcer, online reviews etc) are in alignment with this.
Spydus was chosen over Sirsi Dynix as the system for the recent amalgamation of the 3 previous library shires of [...] who are now [...]l.
