LibraryWorld Hits 700, Scanners and Hint at new Fall Release

We don't normally use the news section for sales, but with the fiscal year coming to a close for many organizations this might be an excellent time to stock up on labels or to upgrade your circulation scanner. Our high speed 8150 scanner comes with a hands free stand and USB cable making it ready for scanning right out of the box. Call 800-852-2777 to speak to a sales associate today.

For those interested in the growth of LibraryWorld.com, the service now has about 700 'Active' libraries. This means 700 libraries paying the annual subscription service fee. There are hundreds of 'Trial' libraries or libraries being used for educational functions that are not counted in that number.

Here is a breakdown of Active libraries by type: (Updated 7/17/07)

55%School Libraries
33%Special Libraries
3%Public Libraries
9%Academic Libraries

The next major release of LibraryWorld.com is scheduled for the Fall with many major new features. We'll be posting general and detailed descriptions of the release online for your review and comments.

Summary: The LibraryWorld.com, service now has about 700 active libraries. This means 700 libraries paying the annual subscription service fee. Many other libraries use the trial version without cost.
