Hedburg Public Library located in Janesville, Wisconsin has gone live with the world's first LM500 Lyngsoe SortMate system.
This new design has been accepted with open arms from the library, whose circulation is 1 million yearly, and has exceeded expectations in regards to performance and appearance. The system is comprised of one LM500 check-in, a Staff Induction and an 8-bin library sorter.
"The Lyngsoe Systems sorter has been working very well for us. The easily understood visual cues and lights allow patrons to quickly understand how to insert items into the LM500 SortMate screen, and the system does a great job reading either the RFID tag or the barcode on the item before sorting the item into the correct bin. We have been quite pleased with the system and are looking forward to expanding the sorter to accommodate 4 additional bins and an additional induction point." says Bryan McCormick, Library Director for Hedberg Public Library.
