Atlanta, GA, August 19, 2019 – EnvisionWare, a leading provider of self-service and library efficiency solutions, announced today that St. Joseph County Public Library (SJCPL) has migrated to EnvisionWare's RFID Software Suite.
Located in South Bend, Indiana, SJCPL is a busy and growing library system. In 2018, over 1 million people visited the Library and 8,600 new Library card accounts were created across SJCPL's 10 locations. The Library circulates over 2 million items per year and serves a population of over 167,000 residents.
When it came time to select an RFID partner, the Library was already an EnvisionWare customer. "We rely heavily on EnvisionWare for computer and print management," said Ismail Egilmez, IT Manager. "Our patrons logged almost 9 million minutes on our public computers last year so we know that we can count on EnvisionWare for reliable products and customer service. They have been a trusted and responsive vendor partner."
According to Ismail Egilmez, "We were looking for a cost-effective option to replace our aging RFID systems. EnvisionWare was the right fit for all our needs for scalability and price point. Changing vendors also gave us an opportunity to review our practices and align with industry tagging standards. These solutions have proven to be great for our patrons and staff alike."
SJCPL migrated to EnvisionWare's RFID software in all 10 locations. The Library also implemented EnvisionWare's Library Document Station for self-service scanning, copying and faxing, as well as Copy Payment Manager for self-service copying payments and reporting.
