Glasgow, UK -- June 28, 2022. SOLUS is pleased to announce the release of Ukrainian language support in The Library App and in active reseller partners Library Applications.
Following the recent mass migration as a result of the tragic war in Ukraine, we received a request from Surrey County Council in the UK to add support for the Ukrainian language to The Library App. As a result, the Ukrainian language translation has been completed and added to the CMS and as with the other language packs, this is now free to add to customer Apps via the Content Management System.
Neil Wishart, CEO of SOLUS states, "This was a very quick addition and if it can help our library partners and anyone in any small way then we're delighted. It was a great suggestion by Surrey libraries but with migration across Europe, hopefully it can be utilized far and wide!"
Liz McGettigan, Director of Digital Library Experiences at SOLUS states, "User experience and free access to library content is at the heart of everything that we do and we're committed to grow our supported languages. I'm very pleased that the Ukrainian translation has been added so quickly following the request and hope that it can help Ukrainian people accessing library services where they are now living."
