Combining bibliometric data with collection data to better inform collection development can be challenging. The new integration between Alma and InCites Benchmarking and Analytics enables mutual customers of both services to conduct multi-faceted collection development and utilization analyses with little effort or manual start-up.
In May, mutual customers can begin to opt in via Alma to share their holdings information with InCites and gain access to new, custom, pre-configured collection development reports in InCites. The integration offers unique insight into how faculty interact with publications within and outside of your collection based on published papers, citation activity, and other indicators. Custom reports help you monitor the evolution of collections according to research area, open access trends and publishers.
If you're at a library interested in early access to the Alma reports in InCites, would like to opt in early for general availability, or have additional questions about opting in, please contact Alma support.
