CPL intends to automate many of its communications by using audience segmentation. In addition, the library's adoption of Patron Point's Recommends program will engage patrons with the collection by providing custom automated reading suggestions. CPL offers more than 175,000 collection items, a wide range of library services, and a full calendar of events and programs to its 58,000 residents.
