Innovative, part of Clarivate, is pleased to share that the Ypsilanti District Library (YDL) has completed a successful six months of using the Polaris Integrated Library System (ILS) to manage library operations.

Founded in 1868, the Ypsilanti District Library has a long history of serving the greater Ypsilanti area through discovery, education, and partnerships. Today, with three branches, a bookmobile, and an extensive collection of items to read, listen to, watch, cook with, play games with, garden with and more, YPL remains dedicated to its mission of building a thriving, highly-connected community supported by innovative resources and exciting learning opportunities.

Polaris provides an intuitive web interface that brings the full power and functionality of the integrated library system (ILS) to the web browser. Polaris can be used on a computer or tablet, freeing staff to connect with patrons and complete tasks wherever it is most convenient – even outside the library walls.
