The Library Corporation -- February 5, 2026. After less than a year with Insignia, Sekula Memorial Library (Edinburg, TX) has officially returned to The Library Corporation (TLC) and its integrated library system (ILS), Library.Solution. This return underscores the library's enduring confidence in TLC, following an eleven-year relationship. TLC completed the library's migration back to Library.Solution in November 2025, making it the second library that year to return to TLC after only a short time away.

Having originally migrated systems as part of a county consortium, Sekula Memorial Library experienced implementation and support challenges in its new ILS. As a result, system administrators worked overtime to address configuration errors and resolve system bugs. This increased workload was further complicated by the limited support provided by their new vendor during the original migration process.

Staff at Sekula Memorial Library realized independent operation was better suited to its needs, and chose to readopt its previous ILS, Library.Solution. Returning to TLC ensured their continued access to the familiar features, dependable performance, and dedicated support they had been receiving for 11 years prior.

The migration back to Library.Solution was a smooth and successful transition, thanks to TLC's proven industry-leading implementation team and comprehensive migration methods. With prior experience with TLC's customer service, library staff are reassured that any concerns, issues, or immediate needs will be swiftly handled by TLC's US-based, 24/7/365 support.

As one librarian put it during implementation: "Coming back to TLC was the best decision. Our implementation went so smoothly that it felt like we never left. The response and follow-up from TLC have been fantastic. We're thrilled with how things are going and couldn't be happier!"

"We are honored that Sekula Memorial Library has chosen to return independently to TLC, following in the footsteps of their neighboring library system," said Annette Murphy, CEO and co-founder of The Library Corporation. "Sekula's decision reflects the trust we work hard to earn from all our customers. We are eager to support them, and any other libraries that choose this path, in their next chapter."
