Six more libraries expand patron services with new Unique and MessageBee launches in Second Half of Q1

Ames Public Library in Ames, Iowa has launched MessageBee SMS. Ames is a long-time Unique client, and this launch represents an exciting expansion of the partnership to include patron-facing text notifications.

Elk Grove Village Public Library in Elk Grove Village, Illinois launched Verified Borrower Registration. This service enables prospective patrons to register for library cards online, streamlining the registration process while securely verifying borrower information. Elk Grove is a long-time Unique client, utilizing Material Recovery Services and MessageBee voice notifications, and this launch further expands their use of Unique's automation tools.

Fairfax County Public Library in Fairfax County, Virginia launched MessageBee SMS notifications. Fairfax has been a MessageBee email notifications and marketing client for several years, and this expansion adds SMS as an additional communication channel, enabling the library to reach patrons quickly with timely text notifications.

Old Bridge Public Library in Old Bridge, New Jersey launched MessageBee SMS Marketing. This new capability allows the library to notify opted-in patrons about service updates, operating changes, programs, and important announcements through timely, targeted text messages.

Pikes Peak Library District (PPLD) in Colorado Springs, Colorado successfully launched Automated Borrower Renewal. This new service automatically renews eligible library cards, helping patrons maintain uninterrupted access to library resources while reducing manual renewal work for staff. PPLD is a long-time Unique partner and also utilizes MessageBee for notifications and marketing, as well as Curbside Communicator.

VALNet (Valley Automated Library Network) launched MessageBee SMS across its consortium of 48 libraries serving North Central Idaho and Southeastern Washington. The addition of SMS enhances patron communication throughout the consortium with reliable, automated text messaging.
