Malaysia Institute for Research in Youth Development selects Virtua
June 25, 2015 - Innovative announced that Malaysia Institute for Research in Youth Development has selected Virtua. A national research center under the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the library has approximately 2,000 items in its collection and this is its first library-automation system.
Over 1,100 Libraries Select Innovative in 2014
January 28, 2015 - Innovative announced that its flagship products were selected by 144 library systems in 2014; 49 of them are new libraries joining the Innovative family. The systems represent over 1,100 libraries of all types in over 20 countries. All of the company's platforms - the Polaris ILS, the Sierra Library Services Platform, and Virtua - were selected in 2014. The libraries are either upgrading from Innovative's Millennium ILS to the Sierra Library Services Platform or migrating from competing systems such as Alma, Evergreen, Horizon, Koha, Voyager, and Symphony.
Pagoh Education Hub and Pagoh Polytechnic Select Virtua and Vital
December 15, 2014 - Innovative announced today that Malaysia's Pagoh Education Hub (PEH) and Pagoh Polytechnic have selected Virtua and Vital. Their libraries will hold approximately 50,000 and 30,000 items respectively and will be implementing their first automation systems. Both are under construction and are due to open in 2015.
VTLS enjoys success and growth in 2013
March 4, 2014 - VTLS reports a period of growth and profitability in 2013 in multiple areas. VTLS added new customers, sold additional products to existing customers, made many product enhancements and hired seven new full-time employees at its headquarters in Blacksburg, VA. In addition, the new Open Skies library services platform is now available for delivery to beta testers. Open Skies is the new platform being offered by VTLS to integrate all library services including ILS, digital management systems, events and exhibits, open access software, e-books and licensed databases.
VTLS Malaysia adds new customers in 2013
February 26, 2014 - VTLS Technologies Sdn Bhd (VTLS’ Malaysian subsidiary) added five new name customers in 2013, expanding the strong customer base that VTLS has in the Malaysian library market. In addition to the new customer sales, five current Malaysian customers purchased an additional VTLS product.
